Field recording from sault ste marie, mi. Noon-hour traffic on a 25 mph street cars passing over a bridge. Little or no wind noise. Recorded on a tascam 4-track with a sure hi-z mic, onto a maxell cassette. Circa 1990'sconverted to ; 16bit 44. 1 dual mono (not true stereo).

Cassette tape noise recorded by playing empty cassette. Route thru a summit audio 2ba-221. No processing. Played on a tandberg tcd 310. A broken fridge at a place i work sometimes. Starts off sounding normal enough but then slowly starts going crazy, i'm no refrigeration expert but i'm pretty sure there's something wrong here. Made me jump when it makes that first noise :p.

In my bag i have had this little not with a patch on. Today it was time to patch it. I dont know why i once draw it down. If its supposed to be a part of a bigger patch. . . This is the result. Noise.

This is a very clean recording (no voices or words that can be made out) of a 737 in flight from inside the passenger cabin. We were seated directly behind the wing. It's just a great recording of what the sound level actually is inside a 737 at altitude. It's a surprisingly low rumble and a true white noise. Enjoy!. - christopher c. Courter.

Ian dury used something like this in "what a waste". . . It's the gurgling noise made when the last of the water runs down a bathroom sink plughole. Conveys almost as much meaning as a cistern flushing, but in a shorter time (smaller file size). As ever (with my stuff) no "noises off" and so ready for mixing!.
